NORTHERN ITALY AUGUST 31 -SEPTEMBER 6, 2025 *sold out*
Spend seven days with us exploring the gems of northern Italy. We begin our adventure in BOLOGNA – a city that is often overlooked by tourists but is not only one of the most beautiful towns in Italy but is also one of the best foodie destinations in the world.
The Plan:
*Our first order of business will be to enjoy a walking food tour of the city to taste some of the specialties of the city and learn about its rich history.
*On our second day in Bologna, we will take a high-speed train to picturesque VENICE for a half-day private tour of the city – with plenty of time to float down the canals where you will have the best views of the unique architecture of the city.
*Our second full day in Bologna will be left open for some free time. If you love cars, it is highly recommended that you visit the Ferrari Museum and maybe even take a test drive on a Ferrari if so inclined! The city of Verona, the setting for Shakespeare’s, Romeo and Juliet, is also a wonderful day trip from Bologna. Verona is known as “Little Rome” because of its great Roman Arena, and large collection of Roman artifacts.

Next, we will take a high-speed train to the capital city of Tuscany. FLORENCE is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and is home to many famous museums and architectural masterpieces.
The Plan:
*On the day of our arrival, we will do a short walking tour of the city and then enjoy some Florentine cuisine in one of the wonderful restaurants of the city.
*Our first full day in Florence will be spent on an excursion to the TUSCAN COUNTRYSIDE. We will visit several authentic villages on our full day tour of the region. Lunch will be at a vineyard where we do a wine tasting will enjoy some delicious homemade pasta.
*Our final day in Florence will be left open for you to do your own thing! You could spend the day shopping, visiting the fabulous Uffizi or Academia museums or you might enjoy a bike tour through the city or even to one of the nearby villages. Our final dinner in Italy will be at one of my all-time favorite restaurants: the Osteria Santo Spirito where you will be guaranteed to have some of the best pasta you have ever eaten in a very homey family restaurant.
